Last Sunday we celebrated the birthday of a friend´s little boy. Alejandro, this is his name, loves cartoons and recently he watch attentively to Peppa Pig´s new programme, where a family of pigs and their adventures entertain the children as well as did too other popular characters as Pocoyo or Bob Esponja.
Before Alejandro´s mom talked me about these lovely little pigs, I didn´t know them. I knew that my birthday present for Alejandro would be a cake, so I searched about this cartoon character on Internet and decided to decorate the cake with the adorable pigs. As expected, Alejandro loved it, so much that he took a seat just in front of the table, with the hope that they gave him a slice of cake 🙂
I prepared a cookies and chocolate cream biscuit that I found at Ana Obregon´s Cupcake Maniacs. You can watch it here. Just a clarification: I added chocolate to the filling cream and covered it with a vanilla butter cream that I colored with some blue food coloring. It turned into light green because the butter cream is pale yellow, so when we mix blue and yellow the result can´t be other. I knew that, so it wasn´t a surprise.
I´d wished to take a better picture from the cake cutting but they didn´t give me much time. It was delicious! 😉
Pues también te ha quedado muy chula la tarta de Pepa!! seguro que a Alejandro le encantó!
